WHO'S SHANTI

The beginning
Shanti began singing as a child and at the age of 14 she began her musical studies at the G.B. Pergolesi of Fermo attending the Lyrical Singing class.
In the following years, having left the Conservatory due to vocal problems, she began to deepen her bel canto vocal technique on her own with self-taught study of jazz, pop, soul, blues, rock and reggae vocal techniques and managed to create a line of connection between the various genres and developing his vocal imprint
From 2006 to 2012
In 2006 Shanti began her first artistic experience collaborating under her first artistic name: L@dyLè, with the rap band Family Coast in the production of their album Sangue Guasto, composing and recording the single Fat Funk with the band. In this period Shanti and the Family Coast perform in a Gran Gala evening in Porto San Giorgio (FM) with the famous rapper Bassi Maestro.

In 2007 she collaborates with the vocalist Gianluca Diva in famous club houses throughout Italy where she performs in shows improvising vocally on house music.
​
In 2008 he formed the rock and pop-rock cover band "Overload" with which Shanti offers a repertoire ranging from the Woodstock years with Janis Joplin and Jefferson Airplain to the contemporary Skunk Anansie and Guano Apes.

In 2009, she collaborates with the new wave-rock band "Disorder". In the same year she participates in the "Note Scordate" competition with the song Every woman is a flower composed by the composer Nino Marino.
​
In 2010 she founded the cover band "Eternal Life" dedicated to the American singer Jeff Buckley. She interprets Buckley's songs perfectly fitting for Shanti's particular vocality, characterized by more than three complete octaves of vocal range. Subsequently, during a trip to San Francisco (California), Shanti performs at the Hotel Utah Saloon in San Francisco (USA). She performs at the piano with the song Gabriel by the band Lamb, and with the song Grace, a cover by Jeff Buckley, accompanied by the guitarist A. Iacopini, receiving an immediate standing ovation from the American public. During the same trip she meets the American singer Ana Moth with whom she records To know him is to love him, a song by Amy Winehouse.

In 2011, you perform with the "Two Souls Project Live", an acoustic duo musical project with musicians such as Donatello Viggiano, David Stern (guitar), Edoardo Bonfigli (guitar).

In 2012 she begins her collaboration with the jazz band "Black Sine White" with which she interprets standard Jazz and Blues songs by singers such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Nina Simone, Edith Piaf etc.


From 2014 to 2017
In 2014 he moved to Marrakech (Morocco) and here he began his real artistic career working as a singer in the most famous clubs in Marrakech. In this period of her life the singer decides to change her artistic name to "Shanti Art Music" (the name "Shanti" of Indian origin means "peace").

In 2016 she works in Marrakech on the video clip of the Marche singer-songwriter Federico D'Annunzio This is my city. Later in the same year Shanti returns for a short period to Italy where she immediately reactivates her collaboration with the Jazz band "Black Sine White" and also begins new collaborations with various other bands such as that of "Turnover".

From 2017 to 2018 Shanti returns to Morocco, to Rabat, where she resumes her artistic work by performing in the most well-known Moroccan venues in the capital and in Casablanca. In recent years Shanti meets various artists and celebrities including Chef Myriam, judge of the television program Master Chef Arabia, who recruits her to perform in her restaurant.

In 2017, moreover, Shanti works on a collaboration with the Moroccan singer Mehdi Tabari, lead singer of the famous boy-band Adrenaline Groupe. Together they present the mashup Say Something + J'en ai marre by Christina Aguilera, A Great Big World and Moroccan singer Asma Lamnawar respectively. The mashup gets more than 270,000 views on Facebook and the recognition of singer Asma Lamnawar. The video clip project was curated by Studio Atomic and by video makers Anas Nachoum and Abdelilah Ayoubi.
2018
Shanti returns to Italy and works on the production of the video clip A Fleur A Toi, a cover of the Algerian-French singer Slimane and the French singer Vitaa. Shanti revisits the text and thus proposes a version with a bilingual text in French and Arabic.
The production of the song was curated by Donatello Viggiano and the video clip by the photographer-videomaker Alessio Beato.
With the same song, in October 2018, Shanti participated in the music competition "Tour Music European Festival" (Campania) reaching the semifinals.


2019
In 2019, after moving to Sofia in Bulgaria, Shanti talks about herself in the documentary-interview by Federico Ciocca, in which the singer talks about her training, how her artistic career began and her artistic and personal relationships with Morocco .

In July 2019, the Italian radio SenzaRadio interviewed Shanti in the "Shadows Light" podcast, reaching the highest listening peak in the history of radio. [citation needed] Throughout the month of July, the cover of Lady Gaga Shallow interpreted by Shanti is broadcast on the radio every day on more than 100 national and international radio stations. [citation needed] In this phase of her artistic career, the singer decides to change her artistic name to the definitive and final version we know: "Shanti Officiel".

In the same period, Shanti is interviewed by Radio Station 41 in which she announces the release of the video Pikalti in collaboration with the musical parody singer Black, a song composed by the singer in different languages (Italian, French and Arabic) and which presents a characterizing imprint of the compositional and multicultural style of the Italian singer.

In November 2019, Shanti is a guest of Azzeddine Azizi's program at "Radio Aswat" (Casablanca). The Moroccan national radio interviews the singer who tells the radio host about her relationship with Morocco and presents her mashup video J'en ai marre + Say Something produced in collaboration with the Moroccan singer Mehdi Tabari in 2017.

Furthermore, in the same period, the singer also collaborates with the Moroccan rapper Ayoun Elhak for the interpretation and composition of the song Wow WoW in which Shanti sings in Arabic darija.

2020
In March 2020, Shanti participates in The Voice Bulgaria 2020 with the reinterpretation of the song Bella ciao proposing an acoustic cover version for the first part and, reversing the situation, with a second part in rap-trap version. With her performance on The Voice Bulgaria, Shanti gets 6.3 Million views on YouTube.
After her participation in The Voice Bulgaria, she is invited to be interviewed on live radio by Radio Station 41 and Radio Amica, in which Shanti talks about her participation in the Bulgarian TV programme.


2021-2022
In 2021 Shanti moved to France, in Montpellier, in search of greater professional artistic development in the French multicultural society.
In this period, the singer released the official trap version of Bella ciao on YouTube, the cover of the song Rapide by Mahmood and an Anglo-Italian mashup of the two songs Girls Need Love by Summer Walker and Rosa Naturale by the Italian singer Roshelle.

In September 2022, the singer released the video clip on featuring "Falling 4 You" shot with the German-Nigerian singer JestyB in Italy. The collaboration features a classic afrobeat song in English, Italian and French that reaches 160,000 views on YouTube.
2023
In 2023, the singer moves to Paris (France) to expand her artistic contacts in the French capital.
Furthermore, Shanti manifests the intention of wanting to start working on her first musical production characterized by Trap, Afro Trap and Pop rap musicality.
